About
On October 19th, 2004, the YWCA held its first Youth Leadership Conference at Dickinson, with students from five school districts. About 75 ninth and tenth graders were invited to the conference from Carlisle, Big Spring, Boiling Springs, Harrisburg and West Perry schools. The leadership conference focuses on appropriate forms of communication, preventing hate and violent crimes, and motivating people to make positive decisions in the community.
