Common Theme
A major common theme our group has discovered is that indigents see the road as an opportunity to better their situation in life. This opportunity manifests itself in very different ways depending on the work of literature and the author. We have alos found that even though the road offers this opportunity, their plans of self betterment are often either realised, changed, or not realised at all.
