Inflation Rate
The Inflation Rate equation is used to demonstrate the percentage change in the price of a given quantity of goods held fixed over a period of time. Using the Consumer Price Index (CPI) figures from September 2001 and September of 2006, we are able to calculate the change in the Inflation Rate from September 2001 to September 2006.
