Russia has two main players in its economy.  They are Gazprom and Lukoil.  Gazprom is the largest company in Russia as well as being the largest extractor of gas in the world.  Lukoil is one of the leading oil and gas companies in the world.    These two companies account for a significant portion of Russian wealth.  This fact happens to be one of the main issues associated with the Russian economy.  The fact that large corporations control a vast amount of the country’s wealth leads to a lack of income distribution.
