This source presents the Enlightenment from a geographic viewpoint.  The book presents multiple maps and atlases that were produced during the Enlightenment, showing the actual products of the intellectual movement.  Additionally, it explains the movement of ideas during the time, and uses comparisons of primary source documents to do so.  The book is organized by chapters that present different ways of examining the Enlightenment through geography; Geographies of the Enlightenment, Geographical Knowledge and the Enlightenment World, and Geography in the Enlightenment.  This source would be beneficial for a researcher who was trying to better understand the chronological and geographical spread of ideas during the Enlightenment.
