This site contains notes on selections from The Gallic War by Julius Caesar, intended for students of Latin at the upper-intermediate level. The selections are those to be included on the syllabus of the new AP Latin course currently (2010) being developed by the College Board. The site is intended as a stop-gap textbook until proper, modern editions can be produced covering the AP selections. This is a wiki, and anyone can alter or add material.  Qualified readers should feel free to add material, provided that it is in the public domain and not under copyright. At the initial creation of the site notes were taken from public domain sources (see Bibliography of Editions Used). The selection of notes (with digital enhancements) was initially made at Dickinson College by Brendan Boston, with supervision by Christopher Francese, in the summer of 2010.
