The Sisterhood is having their annual fashion show that was open to everyone. There are several dance party often with themes so people can participate. We’ve worked with Spectrum, Umoja, Pi Phi and other organization to hold events and support one another.

20 give or take members, approx 3 effectiveness Alexander describes the organization as "women enjoying the company of women" and as a means of "promoting but also being a true enforcer of diversity." 2

Problems/Dilemmas

For example: finances, publicity, resources, receptiveness of students, etc. Resources: not funded by senate because of the all female component, receptivity of students: many people think of the sisterhood as only a minority organization because of the title and its stereotypical meanings tied to it (often associated with black women the word :sister)
