During the past year the Carlisle Police Department has taken several steps to deal with the issues of race in the community, including making the new Carlisle Police Department Headquarters available for community group meetings, making sure we have officers available to attend neighborhood association meetings, and attending community/town meetings. Most importantly is something that we strive for on a daily basis- to provide police service and enforce the law equally and fairly throughout the community.
