Description

Mission Statement

Events

The College Republicans volunteer at events with Republican Congressmen, meet with various politicians that visit the Harrisburg area, and they actively campaigned for George W. Bush in the 2004 Presidential Campaign. They group also worked with the Dickinson College Democrats in sponsoring a voter registration drive.

Effectiveness

On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the most effective, the group's Vice President gave the club an effectiveness rating of 2.

Problems/Dilemmas

One of the biggest problems that the College Republicans face is dealing with the constant criticism since "conservatism is always a target of suspician in academia". When criticism "comes to head", the group holds events.
