~Minutes from the September 25, 2006 Outing Club Meeting~


Summary of trip to the New River Gorge in W. VA.: The group that went on this trip reported back saying they had a great trip to West Virginia despite the rain.
Fall Pause trip to the Red River Gorge in KY: If you were not able to make the meeting and are interested in going on the trip e-mail Kerri.  The group will be leaving the Friday of fall pause and returning Monday so you will have time on campus before classes start Wednesday morning. Details of the trip will be discussed at the next meeting.
The weekend of October 7th there will be an overnight backpacking trip on the AT. Rachel will be leading this trip, if you are interested in going on the trip details will be discussed at the next meeting.
If you have not signed your waiver form and are interested in going on any trips this semester please fill it out and hand it in! You can not go on Outing Club trips without one! If you do not have a form, or have lost it, you can now download it from this website!! All members must sign a new waiver form this year...even if you signed one last year!
If you are interested in helping to organize and clean the clubs gear there will be a brief meeting following next weeks meeting to discuss what needs to be done.
If you are artistically inclined, we would like to get new t-shirts.  We can use the design from last year, but if anyone is interested in creating a new design we'd love to have options to choose from for the final design.
Get van certified!!!! More information can be obtained from DPS. It is really easy to be certified, and once you are, you can use the Dickinson vans for free...they even pay for gas!!
The next meeting will be this coming Monday, at 7:30 in Tome 103.... Be there or be....not there!
