As a Singaporean, I have grown up under a different education regime from the United States. The educational ladder we go up on is like this (with the American equivalent):
2 Years of Kindergarten
Grades 1 - 6: Primary School
Grades 7 - 10: Secondary School
Grades 11 - 12: Junior College
