After all was said and done, the wall cleaning went down quite well. Work started at 10am, and continued for a long long time. The holds were all stripped and down in record time. The acid washing went well, however, due to the weather, the holds took a long time to dry. We eventually moved the holds inside to dry more quickly. Thanks to those who helped out, it wouldn't have been possible without you guys: Adrian, Drew, Duncan, Carl, Cam, Katie, Alex, Chris and Matt. Kline Closet Clean-up and Wall Reset
This event is for all of those who use the wall and want to give back, or for those who just want to have a fun day doing 'community service' and hanging out with the club. We'll start out at 10:00 by taking all of the holds off the wall and cleaning them in acid, then straightening out the closet while the holds dry. Then we'll set new problems. If you've never set before and are interested, we'll run a little tutorial and then let people set a couple of problems.
We have an Alchohol-Free Party Grant for $94 courtesy of the school, with which we can buy pizza, drinks etc. Show up and help for 30 minutes and get pizza, or come all day. We stop when we're finished (possibly 6-8 pm).
