Current progresses in Environmental Justice at Colleges and Universities are linked to the achievement of Long-Term Sustainability. Students at colleges and universities nationwide are participating in a larger scale movement of Local Community-Based Commitments to the Kyoto Protocol. This movement comes not only as a step forward to achieve a more sustainable way of living as a society, but also as a channel of expression that shows that US Citizens are concerned about Sustainability.
