These notes on The Gallic War by Julius Caesar are intended for intermediate Latin students. The notes were originally taken from public domain sources (see Bibliography of Editions Used). The selection of notes was initially made by Brendan Boston, with supervision by Christopher Francese. This is a wiki, and anyone can alter or add material. The portions of The Gallic War included correspond to the selections on the syllabus of the new AP Latin course being developed by the College Board, which is to begin in 2013. It is intended as an intermediate, stop-gap textbook until proper, modern editions can be produced covering the AP selections. Qualified readers should feel free to add material, provided that it is in the public domain and not under copyright.
