UCP's History

United Cerebral Palsy of Central Pennsylvania opened a center in 1953 to provide therapies and schooling from children with cerebral palsy. The service has grown to include more than 400 children with all types of disabilities. UCP: Children's Center provides intervention(therapies), family support, preschool, childcare, and summer recreation programs. The Capital Area Children's Center was opened in 1996 and assists children throughout Central PA.
