August 31st:
We had a birthday celebration for Prana and Xavier. It was tons of fun! We had cup cakes, milk, and orange juice. Thanks to all the members of the Learning Community who showed up!
August 28th: The Mixer was our first learning community event of the semester where the professors and students all came to get to know one another. We had a paper on our backs where we wrote 11.5 things about ourselves and walked around for everyone to see, but we couldn’t talk. Then we got in pairs and talked about our experiences as leaders, and presented to the rest of the group. it was very fun and interesting to read what people had to say on their backs.
