  • Their mission is to assist infants, children, youth, and adults with disabilities, and their families, achieve their goals of development, growth, independence, and full citizenship.
  • Their mission statement is based on the belief that all people in the community have an equal opportunity to participate in community life, regardless of abilities and/or disabilities.
  • UCP is a non-profit organization, which is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. It is an affiliate of the State and National UCP Associations. UCP has facilities in
    • Dauphin
    • Cumberland
    • Perry
    • Northumberland Counties

and provides services for people in

    • Northern York
    • Juniata
    • Centre
    • Mifflin
    • Montour
    • Union
    • Snyder Counties
  • 90% of UCP's funding comes form the United Ways of the Capital Region, Carlisle County, and Cumberland County. They also maintain service contracts with several government agencies and regional service providers. 10% comes from the community's support. Most of the services provided by UCP are at no cost to the families recieving them.
