Rationalism

Rationalism is a philosophical doctrine arguing that natural phenomena can be explained through logical and mathematical deductions. Rationalists believe that institutions can only achieve desirable outcomes if they are guided by specific, predetermined rules, as reason and not experience is the most important source of knowledge.
