There is a tendecncy for people to be affected by their personal, mental compartments. For example, people viewing the New Year as a new beginning may be a likely cause for the "January effect" where stock prices tend to rise in January in up to 15 observed countries. This anomaly cannot be explained in terms of the tax year since Great Britain's tax year begins in April and Australia's in July, yet this anomaly is observed in these countries as well.
