About Horace Satires

This site was created by Christopher Francese at Dickinson College in the summer of 2010. It is intended to help students in the Roman Satire class to read Horace's Satires 1.5, 1.6, and 1.9 in Latin.
The text comes from The Latin Library, with slight modifications to make it better conform with the edition of J.C. Rolfe.
The dictionary definitions for the vocabulary are primarily from Lewis & Short
