Hurricane Katrina has caused the lives of many people in the states bordering the Gulf of Mexico. The destruction was so devistating that cleanup still has a long way to go today.Much like an errupting volcano covers the surrounding land, Hurricane Katrina has forced the birth of nature and new lives of people and animals.

I personally have visited Luisiana to help with disaster relief. First hand experience has shown that physical damage was not all that was affected. There were jobs lost, social structures ruined, and lives dramatically changed. Many people have not realized that there is still much to be done in regards to clean up.
