After careful and in depth research on anti-racism movements all over the world, it is clear to see how these movements have impacted the lives of opressed people all over the world. The Soweto Uprisings in South Africa in 1976 changed the will and the motiovation of all South African people so that tragedies such as hate crimes and discrimantion based on race could never happen again. The signifance of such events as that of 1976 is so that future generations can learn about the power of motivation and what can be achieved when people unite and come together in order to create change. Another important lesson that can be learnt from 1976 is the realization that ordinary young people can make a difference in society. It is true that what happened in 1976 will remain a dark piece of South African history that can never be erased, but it is also a fact that it helped change the future of South Africa forever. The Black Power Movement strived long and hard to work and advocate for the human rights of African - American people in the United States. Through riots, social and economic struggles, and peaceful protests, the Black Power Movement was very successful in establishing pride and useful programs amongst African-Americans and their communities. African-Americans were viewed differently by themselves as well as whites and gained access to the things they had been previously denied. The Organization for Chinese Americans is an organziation that continues today to make and impact on the lives of all Asian people in America. It is a group that strives for the civil rights of all Asian-Americans both on a social and economic scale. Just like the previous two anti-racist movements afore mentioned, the Organization for Asian Americans have impacted the lives of thousands of people in the Asian community. They too are an example of how change can occur through education and the want for a better future. Lastly, the National Council of La Raza, whose primary objective is to fight for the rights of all Hispanics and Latinos in America, have been succesful in improving voting rights, juvenile justice and racial profiling for the Hispanic community. Just like the many other groups that exist in order to help create equal justice and treatment of the Hispanic people, La Raza have made huge improvements on a national scale. They too are a great example of how change is possible if the motivation for it exists.

After examing all these different anti-racist groups is easy to see how they have help the situation of minorities. However, the lives of these people are still not perfect and it may never be perfect. But knowing that groups such as the one that this website researched exist, is a good start. These groups and this website aims to inform and educate people about the injustices being done to people due to their race or ethnic background. However, it also aims to teach that there are people out their working hard everyday to make change happen. GrandTez Johnson is the best
