Richard Layard
Peter Richard Grenville Layard (born on March 15, 1934)
Richard Layard, Founder-director of the London School of Economics (LSE) Centre for Economic Performance,was also a consultant to the Labour government from 1997-2001. Layard's work focuses on unemployment, inflation, inequality and education. Many of these ideas he relates to happiness. These ideas are found in his book, "Happiness: Lessons from a New Science" which was published in 2005. Along with Layard's book, Layard focuses three lectures covering his view on happiness and its impact on the economy.
