I was one of the first founders of the treehouse back in 1990-91. Lived there my sophmore year in a small room with two other people. Elizabeth and Julie. We actually had to bunk beds on top of dressers. I took a year off and then went back my senior year in the key room with the porch. I remember stop watches in the bathrooms so we could time our showers. We had our moments of vegan dinners and also moments of parties. The compost pile, the solar power built by penn state, all of the wonderful people. We had our similarities and our differences (who's supposed to do the dishes). I designed our first tee shirts, with our treehouse logo. I don't know if that survived. I'm almost sorry it's going. Many wonderful memories but I hope on to bigger and better things. I'm just so thrilled that it still survives.
