History
The Gulf War was a conflict between Iraqi forces and a coalition force of roughly 30 countries led by the United States. It was started on August 2, 1990, when Iraqi forces invaded Kuwait because of allegations that Kuwait was “slant-drilling” oil from across the Iraqi border. Coalition forces began fighting in January of 1991, and had already won a decisive victory by driving Iraqi forces out of Kuwait on February 28th, 1991.
