Activism against Classism
Since the 1930s students at colleges and universities have come together to engage in activism with the purpose of tackling social injustices inside and outside the college, in the US and worldwide. The following sections provide an account of the history of the movement, a description of active organizations that nowadays promote and fight for workers' rights, their successes and failures, the road ahead for the movement and some suggestions for the reader that wishes to join this movement and promote workers' rights from his or her place as a student.
